Someone paying on stream hrough paypal does take a decent cut of their profits. It is their choice to not offer other payment methods that take some off the top to use it. Debit card works just fine in ordering, it is not just credit card only. If you have a bank account, then you have a debit card though. But as you realized yourself already they obviously don't need / want my money. I stated that I wanted to buy the game several times before. So offering only one payment option is rather poor and not really up to date.Īnd my comment wasn't a threat at all. We're living in the year 2016 not in the 80's anymore. And I surely won't get one only to pre-order a video game for 40 bucks. I never had a credit card and I never needed one. I was able to beat my life with an ordinary bank account so far. I rather wonder if you're old enough if you actually think every working person in the world owns / needs a credit card. If you aren't old enough to work then your threat of not buying it is lessened anyway. It's also possible that there are still things that need to be done before they can do pre-orders on steam, rating from ESRB finalized, a finished deal with Steam etc. 100% of pre-order money goes straight to my small company or 70% goes to us while another 30% goes to someone else. But if you're old enough to work, you are old enough for a bank account and a debit card or a prepaid visa. If you want to wait for steam pre-order then that's fine, you can do that. Not selling here right now obviously isn't hurting sales either. I would have pre-ordered months ago if the game would be offered for purchase on Steam.
As they won't get any money from people like me at all as long as the game is only available for pre-order / purchase on that website. To worry they could lose any money by offering a pre-order on Steam is actually rather absurd.
